Post 2 :Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a child I wanted to be a veterinarian, but later I realized that I was afraid of certain animals. I think it was the dream of every child and I also wanted to be a doctor.

At the time of applying for the university I thought about studying business engineering, math engineering, kinesiology. But I always had the thought that I wanted Health.

What made me decide about my career in Dentistry is its community part, since I consider it to be a career where you can help others and carry out community work. My experience at the university has not been the best due to the pandemic since we cannot live the true university experience or share with colleagues.

I would love to do community work, where I can visit cities helping people who find it difficult to access the service.

    Hello, when you have options in two different areas, I think that in those cases it may be more difficult to choose. And I really liked what helped you to decide, it is very nice.

Hi everyone Personally, I would like to travel to the past and future. First I would like to go to the future, about 200 years in the future to see the development of the Earth, what conditions it is in at that time and if part of the technology was able to reduce climate change or if the Earth has already died and there is only one small size of the world population due to this growth that is already showing climate change and all its consequences.  second, I would love to go back in time and meet the dinosaurs and what they were like hundreds of years ago, how they really lived and if the discoveries that were made after them match the reality they lived. Post 8 A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

The topic that I liked the most this semester corresponds to the branch of Psychosocial and Anthropological Bases of Health. In the classes on this topic we see everything related to the psychological, social and anthropological in Dentistry. We see how the treatment of the patient should be, how we should be as dentists, the types of patients that can exist that are called difficult patients, who can be paranoid, histrionic, narcissistic, talkative, aggressive, silent, etc. We have also learned how professional-patient communication should be and they have taught us the communication skills that we must possess. Here they teach us how to establish a relationship with the patient that will allow me to educate my patient, that he complies more with the treatments and the most important thing is that he gives me enough information that allows me to satisfy his needs. I like this field because it allows me to understand certain things that perhaps I did not measure before, or it makes me

A Photograph and Its Story

 This photograph was taken in the summer of 2020 in Pichidangui and in it is my grandfather. This photo is important to me as it was taken by me and my grandfather passed away in March 2021 and it is one of the few photos I have of him on my cell phone and it is also at the house on the beach that he loved to go to. This photo was taken when my cell phone camera was having problems, from one day to the next it stopped focusing so it did not allow me to take photos but for a moment, I don't know how, but I focused and I was able to take this photo. From that summer I have no more photos than this on my cell phone because they all went wrong and it became a very special photo for me.
